Olesya Lakshtanova is a (Russian/Portuguese) video artist whose work draws inspiration from nature: she searches for poetry, fragility, balance, different ways of being and perceiving, understanding the other, ephemerality, randomness, and lack of control.

My work combines mediums that strive to merge the physical and the digital. Lately I’ve been mostly exploring video art, integrating performance, 3D elements and visual effects. Conceptually, my projects aim to balance chaos and meaning, control and surrender, as I investigate the tension of human coexistence with the world.
